Terrible with even low volumes of small leaves I had a Dolphin robotic cleaner stop working after about a 5-year life and I thought this would be a good alternative as I had no issues with a suction-side cleaner on another pool 25 years ago. Lasted One Year It worked great until it didn’t. The hoses lasted eight months. Bought new hoses. About nine months, the tracks failed. I replaced those. The cleaner itself failed at about the one year mark. It wouldn’t move. Of course, I began rebuilding it. It will require a complete rebuild, and the total parts cost is over a hundred dollars. Not worth the expense! This was delivered on 3/28/24. The box was heavily damaged, including the handle ripped off, and several holes and crush points on the box. Thankfully, the packaging ensure the item itself sustained no damaged. However, that's the only good thing I can say. I installed the vacuum as per the instructions. The first step says to turn off the main drain but does not mention it again. Do I leave it off? Do I turn it back on? The next step is to assemble the hose, connect enough to reach the furthest point plus one section. Check. Next is to time the number of rotations of the propeller (10 rotations in 20 seconds).
