Poor design cleaner I was very pleased how easy it to install the cleaner and it went right to work. We checked the flow rate and wound it to be 10 revolutions in 24 seconds by a stop watch. It has not climbed up the walls to clean and we have found that if there is any leafs or small debris in the poll that itt will be sucked into it and stop it from cleaning then it has to be taken out torn down cleaned out.My old Pentair Kreepy would suck up the leafs and go on , A little disappointing to say the least.
Works with Newer Suction Type Pools Only - Mine is an Older Pressure Type My pool requires a pressure type sweeper. This one is a newer suction type sweeper and would not work on my pool which is an older pool.I did not use or install the product and could not vouch for its quality.
Not a step doer If your pool has steps, it will get stuck until you move it around.
Works well, but not very often and gets stuck easily It barely works. I tried 2 of these and tried my hardest to keep it clean and running smoothly. But they are designed poorly...there are burs inside the area where the fins slide around which stops the movement of the whole device. I tried adjusting the flow, cleaning it out (nothing is stuck), checked the tracks...ultimately, it just keeps getting stuck. It also has issues with the hose getting tangled. Junk piece of junk I bought this sweeper for my in ground pool and at first I thought it was a great thing by reading the reviews of this now that I’m not impressed at all with how twice I had to have it fixed and now it’s garbage nothing but garbage I would not recommend this product at all believe me it’s a waste of money don’t waste your money and time
Even the smallest debris will bring this to a halt. I've been suffering with this pool vacuum for nearly 3 years now. I think I keep it in service to justify the initial expense. Honestly, I won't be disappointed when if finally dies. The problem with this unit is that even the smallest leaf, twig, or other debris will bring it to a grinding halt. WORST MX6 I purchased the Baracuda MX6 expecting it to last for years, but after only 11 months of normal use, every single hose broke or cracked. The material is clearly low quality and not made to withstand regular pool use. To make things worse, I have tried multiple times to contact Baracuda for a warranty claim with no response. Their customer service is non-existent. For the price, I expected much better. Save your money and avoid this product unless you want a short-term solution and no support when things go wrong.
Good til it isn't. Zero customer service Worked good for 18 months then started getting stuck in the corner of the pool and would not move. Changed tracks out hoping that would fix it, but to no avail. Customer support is non existant. Wouldn't recommend
DON’T BUY Don’t buy!!! Flawed design, the smallest debris will stop this vacuum in its tracks.
