This was the best storage experience I have ever had because the onsite office gave awesome customer service! They explained everything in detail and told me ahead of time about anything complicated and made sure I knew how to get in and out and lock up and when the bills were due and how I could pay online! I really appreciate them!

Be very wary of this company! First off, they are more expensive than most other places. I rented a 5x5 for 50% off of usual $71/mo. On top of the $35.50,they added $20 (admin fee) and $10 (mandatory insurance that really didn't even cover my stuff) = $65 for a 5x5! Next month was going to be $81 for a 5x5?? No thank you. Found a cheaper unit. Got out in 26 days. Second thing, woman in the office said one thing but it wasn't listed in the agreement. We stored items there for almost five years. Just recently we traveled to San Diego to retrieve them. First things first. Phyllis, the manager, and Patrick, an employee, were great. We have no issues with them. Secondly, we have no issues with the unit itself. Our issues stem with exorbitant rent costs, which increased almost $30 in the time we were there, from $65 to almost $95. Ridiculous and, in our opinion, borderline criminal. Good and energetic customer service and clean facility. Very professional. What I like most was the door alarms. I will be gone for a few months and can breathe easy, I know my stuff is safe. Thank you A-1!

I have rented storage units before. Some of those for years at a time. While I was satisfied with those A-1 is the cleanest and friendliest I have encountered. I am also very impressed with their security measures. You will not find any nicer people to do business with and will be very pleased with the unit

The management is waaay too nice (not a bad thing), awesome service, awesome ppl, competitive prices. That's what I've come to expect from this A1, is A+! Before renting my very large unit, I shopped around for months, couldn't find anything even close to what their main st location had to offer, & at their price. It was the cheapest around. I recommend A-1 Self Storage for all your storage needs. Patrick is super friendly, professional and helpful. Whenever I have had an issue with anything such as determining what size storage I needed for a second space, Patrick helped me figure it out. Phyllis is nice too it's just that Patrick is usually the one who is there when I call or stop in. Also, the place is always clean and utility carts are readily available to transport your storage items.
