I just got a storage space here A-1 storage on West main and Phyllis help me clear everything else went through the price the numbers and gave me a great deal, this place is awesome and very reasonably priced

I've a few reviews some good some not good. Yes this place has get customer service. No place is completely save, but they do there best to protect what you have. That's why you should have insurance. You protect you home with the best security system and still your home gets broken into. As for the price if going up $15 are a little more is a problem, then you haven't been to Price storage. That's a place that will ripe you off. I've just movies In a unit. Best storage facility for the buck. For more intense security there is the place on E. Main that has red laser trip wires. ! LOL ! Phillis is the Best and takes great measures to keep our belongings secure. Thank You all At A1, :-) Stephen.

I have rented my unit for almost a year and up until June I was ok with the facility but then the worst nightmare happened to me and 9 others we were violated. This place has no security system in place our units were broken into and we were robbed. The staff and management did shocked me with how little this incident was to them and how I was lied to in the beginning with my first question was "will my stuff be safe here. We encourage you to complete the necessary paperwork to file your claim. I would like to clarify that our alarm system does not turn off at 8 PM, and that we are working with the police fully with their investigation into this matter. Staff is very friendly and helpful! They answered all my questions and provided me with helpful information. Will definitely be renting a unit here!

Been renting a garage since November 2016. Clean facility. The friendly guy left and now it's an older lady. I haven't met her yet though. The only thing negative for me is the amount of homeless people that rent and hang out in their unit all day. Some look creepy. Luckily I don't have to go through the Halls since I have a garage outside

Very friendly staff will help you find just the right size for your needs - including strange shaped units under stairs with extra space. If you don't have proof of homeowner/rental insurance, add $10/mo to whatever prices you are quoted.

Thank you for the feedback, Oren. You are correct, we do charge an additional $10 a month for our customer protection plan. That charge can be removed at any time once proof of insurance has been provided.
I had a great experience with A-1 Storage. Philis was great. The team in El Cajon has great customer service. They were more than just employees but social workers as well. Lol I'll miss them!!!
