Great service and supplies, Manager is awesome, in the process of a hectic move my husband showed up with out keys to the unit. The manager who just happened to be in the area saved me a 45 minute trip from our new house. Would totally use these guys again for any storage needs!

The lady at the office, Rebecca, was helpful and open to questions. She told me about rent increases but only when I asked about them. As you see in other reviews, it's well lit and clean. I feel comfortable storing my stuff here.

A-1 on Oakland Rd is a well-lit, secure and clean facility. They have drive-up access to the building beyond the security gate. Most of the units are accessed through the interior of the building, with 3 elevators to reach the floors above ground level, so it's very convenient. My unit was clean. I noticed rodent bait positioned in various locations, but I think that's common for storage facilities. No rats to be seen! I like that they have music playing inside the building. I have kept my treasures here several times between moves and when transitioning between leases. The staff is super, the space is ultra clean and easily accessed from freeways. The rates are competitive and all units enclosed in environmentally protected facilities. Nothing gets wet or layers of dirt like other locations I have used in the area. Would highly recommend!!!

This property is clean and safe with great customer service! I have been shopping around for a convenient storage facility and this is by far the best facility. I need to clean out my home to sell and need a place to put all the "extras." I was given a full tour and the customer service was wonderful.
I was in need of storage space to store some of the junk taking up space in my garage. Chris and Shannon were very friendly and I was walked around the site to see the different options in space sizes. More than likely I'll end up using this place since it's close to where I'm currently living. Thanks!

I have been a customer of A-1 Self Storage for more than a year. The area is well maintained and kept clean by the management of Christ, Giovanni, and Maria, a cleaning lady. Chris and Giovanni make sure that there are available carts for customers to load and unload items. While Maria provides daily cleaning service to external and interior areas. The place is clean, but beware of price increase. If you rent for 1-2 months, it may be OK. If you are thinking of renting for long term, please beware that the manager will raise your rent every few months. Even when the listed price on their website is much lower than your rent, the manager (Chris) will refuse any price reduction. I offered him to sign 1 year contract with the new price on website, but he refused. He said I can pay for 1 year in advance but he will use the same higher old price with no discount at all.
