I was helping my mom find a storage unit and couldn't decide between A-1's 10x17ft vs Public storage's 10X15ft. The prices were both competitive compared to other companies. I told my mom to visit both locations. My mom said the public storage she went to was dirty and the door is narrow. She didn't like it at all. Been renting here for about four months now, and A-1 has a great staff and way better prices than you would find with the other guys. What I get here I would pay triple somewhere else. It's very clean inside and if you have any questions someone is there to help.

This place may be clean but over the past 2 years of storing my things here, my rate has been raised twice. My original rent was under $80 a month. Today I received an email saying my rate will now be $92 a month. Its ridiculous. I didn't say anything the first time it was bumped to $86, or when they painted the inside walls inside and got a line of paint on my refrigerator. These rate hikes are dumb and I will be looking for another storage place immediately.

Easy setup online and came into the store the morning of my move to get a walkthrough and gate code. Susan was extremely helpful and such a delightful person to talk to. She was very patient with my questions and gave me a tour of the facility and showed me how to use the lift. She also lent my wife a hand when she came by herself and was having trouble opening our storage unit. All in all this place is well secured and Susan was the coolest person Ive met in awhile. I rented a storage unit for donations for a major fund raising yard sale in Montebello for a young Girl with Autism. I expected a little more support for our cause but didn't get any. We were offered a discount for the first month, but no discount for the second month even though we were only going to use the unit another two weeks only.
Everyone was so great there. I had my things there for over a year and never had one problem. The place is completely clean (I wish my house was that clean!). My ONLY wish is that it was climate controlled when you're moving on really hot days here but my stuff came out as pristine as it went in. No security issues, everything was great. Totally recommend.
