There has been changes the last few days. The warm welcome isn't felt, and there is a hostile environment it feels like for some reason. I will be moving out and going somewhere else.

Whats the deal? What does it take to get someone to answer the phone or a pleasant person at the counter? There are too many options around here to think that an organization can be lackadaisical about customer service. Just an observation.

I'm sorry to hear you're dissatisfied, S C. Our front office is closed on Thursdays. However, we do offer other options for assistance. Our 24 hour rental/payment kiosk is always open. We also have our call center available to assist you from 7:30 am - 7 pm weekdays. I'd be happy to put you in touch with someone in the office today, just private message me your name and phone number.
I would appreciate if they could also offer pick up or vans rental service. When you are not a professional you may find that stuff does not fit in your car!!!

Thank you for the feedback, Mercedes. Although we don't offer vehicle rental services, we can make recommendations to get the moving help you need.
After checking out other similar storage facilities in the area, we chose A-1 Lake Forest because of (1) better prices and (2) access to storage units 365 days a year. We ruled out the facilities that don't offer access to units on major holidays. Our 40-hour work week forces us to handle stored items on holidays as well as weekends, so A-1 was our obvious choice. We have not been disappointed. Clean, secure, and the customer service by Billy is great.

I've been meaning to write a review for a little while now and I keep forgetting, but a Friday afternoon is as good as any time to catch up on some thank-you's. However, as I scroll through these reviews, Im a little astonished at how many people beat me to it. This place is awesome, and it's awesome because of Billy. Period. This is my second stint at this particular location and they are as awesome as ever. We've worked with Maricela on both occasions and she's cool, calm, and professional. The storage facilities are clean and the employees have all been helpful. The second floor units do get a bit warm during the summer, but I think that has more to do with the recent heat waves. Access is very controlled. Check their website for regular specials.
