Disappointing compared to Dragos. All my friends recommended ACME but my experience was disappointing. I only at 4 of the dozen ordered.

Tourist trap. Rushed, bad service. My friend with me got food poisoning from here. Skip this place by all means.

The raw oysters were still covered in bottom mud. So much so that when they had shucked them some was on the oyster it’s self. Even the worst oyster bar in America at least cleans off the black mud.

Well, my son and I decided to try Acme French Quarter after a day at the aquarium. Bad decision. My food came out 15 min before my 4 y/o’s hamburger. As I wasn’t going to eat in front of a hungry 4yo I waited. And waited. Finally his hamburger came out, cold with a side of cold fries. And of course my food was cold. My margarita tasted only of sour mix, and the oysters themselves were small and sub par. To give the waitress credit, she did inform the manager that I was dissatisfied. I almost wished she didn’t, as ... read more

I have been here several times before and never had such a negative experience. I was here with my 4 year old son, the waitress brought MY food out 15 minutes before she brought my sons basic hamburger. I wasn’t going to eat in front of my hungry 4yo so my oysters were cold when his food finally came…and guess what his hamburger was cold as well. The oysters themselves were tiny and just subpar to what usually have here. The margarita I ordered tasted only Of sour mix, no alcohol. And our server only checked back in o... read more

Acme Oyster House - French Quarter , wish I could say my first visit was amazing. Your maitre'd was less than welcoming. She set a negative tone for my meal, which was less than stellar.

waiter today was a total jerk. Very condescending to my wife and a total a-hole to me. We used to eat at Acme multiple times but they lost over $50 from me alone and will never, ever, step foot in this place again Also, the party in front of us was allowed in even though 2 members could not show proof of vaccination yet we got scrutinized unbelievably. Double standards, jerks for employees, go elsewhere people

This used to be one of my favorite restaurants until today! We were told by our resort that the Covid restrictions were lifted by the city. We’ve been down here for several days, we were able to go into every bars, shop and restaurant without even a mask or any other crazy harassment. Then we were greeted by an Acme “door greeter”, a rather angry, large woman, demanding we either show her a negative covid test result or are vaccine card or go away! Needless to say I didn’t have “my papers” to show to the Soup Nazi so we wen... read more

Great food. Denied service dog after food was already ordered. Bad service.
