Disappointing compared to Dragos. All my friends recommended ACME but my experience was disappointing. I only at 4 of the dozen ordered.
Tourist trap. Rushed, bad service. My friend with me got food poisoning from here. Skip this place by all means.
The raw oysters were still covered in bottom mud. So much so that when they had shucked them some was on the oyster it’s self. Even the worst oyster bar in America at least cleans off the black mud.
Well, my son and I decided to try Acme French Quarter after a day at the aquarium. Bad decision. My food came out 15 min before my 4 y/o’s hamburger. As I wasn’t going to eat in front of a hungry 4yo I waited. And waited. Finally his hamburger came out, cold with a side of cold fries. And of course my food was cold. I have been here several times before and never had such a negative experience. I was here with my 4 year old son, the waitress brought MY food out 15 minutes before she brought my sons basic hamburger. I wasn’t going to eat in front of my hungry 4yo so my oysters were cold when his food finally came…and guess what his hamburger was cold as well.
