This used to be one of my favorite restaurants until today! We were told by our resort that the Covid restrictions were lifted by the city. We’ve been down here for several days, we were able to go into every bars, shop and restaurant without even a mask or any other crazy harassment. Then we were greeted by an Acme “door greeter”, a rather angry, large woman, demanding we either show her a negative covid test result or are vaccine card or go away! Great food. Denied service dog after food was already ordered. Bad service.
The crab cake I had was horrible. it the corn on the bottom of the cake tasted like it had been in a pot for days the Crawfish Po'Boy... the bread was so freaking hard I couldn't eat it..I asked for some more of the sauce that went on it and got regular mayo. Pointless meal..
SHAME on you for VIOLATING HIPPA... How dare you turn away patrons based on their personal choices on either to or not to get VAXED.... its Your choice to serve certain people yes... But to ask people to show PROOF to you as if your a Dr. or someone who NEEDS TO KNOW IS SICK... I WILL NEVER RECOMEND YOUR BUSINESS EVER!!!!

Hi Justina! Unfortunately this is a mandate by the Mayor of New Orleans that we have to follow or risk being shut down.
Worse waitress ever....OMG. If you don't like your job then quit. Nobody made you work here. Helen was her name...she is horrible. We had a dirty knife and told her...she took the knife and said we wouldn't need it any way. WTF! The appetizers were the ONLY thing that was hot. HARD PASS! DON'T WASTE YOUR TIME OR MONEY!

Poor service. First time in many years we were disappointed.
Expecting the food the be great but was disappointed
the server was terribly rude no seafood in the seafood gumbo.
My experience this past Thursday was horrific! Our server was rude and argumentative...he raised his voice when my aunt told him her order was wrong and blamed her...he never cleared our appetizer dishes so once our food came out we had to ask him to clear them..,he was not a good listener nor very attentive! I’m a New Orleans native and have worked in the French Quarter myself and had never felt so dismissive in my life! This was my first time at Acme and will definitely be my last!
