very complicated and long installation process I think for the price this scanner is good, fast and does its job. very complicated and long installation process on Windows, also it defaults to jpg and outputs each page singel. So you need to find the pdf setting. also it comes wit other software but I cannot even find it after installation...
Works very well I really like pulling this out and using it. It works very well and the documents scan very well so far. The only thing is that I did get a chrome book recently and was unable to attach it to it right away like my other computer. I will have to do some research to see if I can hook it up to it.
READ ME FIRST. NO cable. HELP for LINUX users. There is not much you can do with the Brother ADS-2200 scanner except scan to a USB stick or scan to a computer. Since most people will want to connect the scanner to a computer, Brother should have supplied a suitable USB cable, rather than requiring the user to purchase a separate one. The ad on Amazon says that the scanner will work with Linux but the documentation does not say how to do it. Works well but smudges Pencil I love this and use it often. It is fast and easy to use. Just be careful of smudging if you have documents that has things handwritten in pencil on it.
VERY FAST! Small and portable I bought this to scan documents on the road, local only no flying. It works fantastic, the first time I used it I didn't think it was working, I thought it was just spitting the pages out. Quality is GREAT!
So Far... Great Bought to replace a Fujitsu fi-6130 (10 years old). I was having issues with the old scanner jamming frequently, crooked scans (worn out guides), and when I upgraded my computer to Windows 10, the drivers didn't work anymore regardless of what I did. I have a brother printer and sewing machine so I decided to try this one. excellent Product I love it!
Fast, plus duplex Works great! This is a small sized scanner that doesn’t take up a lot of desk space. It produces good quality scans quickly and has the capability for duplex. All around, this is a great scanner for my home office.
