Good Compact Scanner with Reliable Sheet Feed In well under five minutes from opening the box, the machine was up and running. As a trial-run, I stacked several sheets which included edge worn legal pad sheets, half sheets of notebook paper, typing paper, and a business card and scanned to a USB flash drive on my keyring without error. Great Scanner for Small Jobs This is a great scanner for the home office or for small business. It does not compete with more expensive scanners, but is just fine for lighter work. I particularly wanted it to scan business cards. I am in sales and spend a lot of time at sales shows. A nice, compact, high speed scanner for scanning your black and white and color documents at a reasonable price point. I recently received the Brother ADS2200 High Speed Color Duplex Document Scanner through the Amazon vine program. Setup is fairly straightforward, you basically plug it in and download the software from the Brother site. The download takes a bit of time so you have to be patient. Compact, easy-to-use high speed scanner I have a ScanSnap high speed scanner, and this Brother compares well to it. If you can live with fewer features, such as wireless capability, then the Brother will work well for home or a small business. Where's the cord? At first, I thought this was a printer. Maybe because it's called "Brother Printer". However, it's a high speed scanner. I was under the impression that this scanner could connect wirelessly. It does not. You need a cord. Brother does not provide a cord, or at least I didn't get one in my box, so I had to use the one from my laser printer instead. Pretty hard to connect a device when you don't have a cord. Nice Compact Scanner That Doesn't Clutter My Desk I think this is an excellent scanner. It's small size allows To to fit on top of my small desk without taking up and cluttering my desk. You can remove the paper tray where the pages come out on when not in use which makes it more compact. It does scans in color or black and white. The setup was quick and simple.
