My family resolved to go totally paperless in 2018, and this scanner is just the tool to keep us from drowning in discarded paper. Brother has borrowed some technology from their larger/higher speed business grade scanners to create this product that is equally as at home in both my home office or at my work office. The 50 sheet document feeder is nice but I would have liked something autoscaling, maybe up to 200sheets, but that's pushing it into the Enterprise realm. The Brother - ADS-2700W Wireless High-Speed Color Duplex Desktop Document Scanner with Touchscreen LCD is a great high-end scanner that really performs well and has a lot of useful functions. The quality is superb yet this doesn’t seem to slow the processing time as it surprisingly operates quite efficiently. The LCD touchscreen is very useful as well. Overall I am very pleased with this scanner and I highly recommend it!

First things first - this scanner is primarily designed to automatically scan sheets of printed pages at a high speed. It is NOT a replacement for your general flatbed scanner. If your requirement is to be able to scan non-standard sized documents such as assorted photographs or pages from a bound book you will want a different product. This little brother wireless scanner comes in a compact little package. The box includes the scanner and the getting started manuals. No usb cables are included and is expected to be setup wirelessly. The only assembly required is to click in the document feeder and plug the power in. The feed tray does not fold over the scanner and results in a small gap on the top of the scanner and exposes the internal glass to dust which could be avoided by design. We have an all-in-one printer, scanner, fax etc etc machine. It's fine when you have to scan one picture or document. you place the pic or doc face down and hit scan. done. well to scan boxes of documents that are taking up space in my closet would have taken months at that rate. The first thing I noticed with this scanner is how compact and easy to set up it was. Only took a few minutes and its great to have the ability to connect it to the network wirelessly. The unit has a nice touch screen to use and the iOS application is easy to use and set up as well. The speed and quality of the scans are great and the options provided to scan are very useful. Overall a good scanner for the price.
