Never Ever. It was supposed to be a good day! Moving day! My birthday! I had the movers lined up behind me. But unfortunately the code pad to open the gate was not working. I went to the front office and they opened the exit gate for us since that would be faster and the movers were on the clock. They are super friendly and opening an account was very easy. They assured me if I moved my things out before my due date, I wouldn't be charged. I called the day before the due date to confirm if they were going to charge me and I was assured that I wouldn't be charged. I woke up today with a monthly charge from Affordable Storage. I called and they were nice about refunding me the money, what really sucks is they can't tell me when I'll be getting my refund. I spoke with the manager over the phone on June 17, 2021 & he told me that we didn't have to pay any money down on the first month & that there was a $15 set up fee as well as $15 for the lock & key. He told me to come up to the office on Friday. When we got to affordable storage the next day, I sat & spoke to him about getting the storage. He told me that the trailer would be thrown in for free.
