I am happy to report Dr. Barrett was kind of enough to call & address my concerns. We had an open & honest conversation about my frustrations. She provided insight on struggles the office is going through. For one, they are currently undergoing minor renovations. For this reason, they are continuing with the current covid protocols but hope to loosen their covid restrictions after the renovations are complete. I have mixed feelings about this place. I've been coming here for over a year now since I moved to the area and although I like some of the vets, I find the process to be confusing and a bit frustrating if I'm being honest. It's quite clear that they overcharge for simple procedures like ear infections and get somewhat disingenuous when people push back on their fees. They charged me $350 for a single ear cleaning and wanted me to come back for several follow ups until I found the exact same product online for $10 with some ... read more
What a great experience. We transferred both of our pets (dogs) here after moving to the area and I'm amazed at how much time the doctors spent with the patients and the owners (it never feels rushed ). The other staff are equally polite. I would recommend Alamo Animal Hospital to anyone!

Thank you to Dr. Lee, Jacob, Alicia, and all the other staff who helped with my guinea pig, Chewy. I really appreciate the gentleness and compassion you showed to both him and I on his last day. Very grateful I found Alamo Animal Hospital and I highly recommend them.
Alamo Animal Hospital is wonderful, take your pet here! We are so thankful to Dr Lee who made the diagnosis of Addison's disease in our bull terrier within one day. Even though the clinic was completely booked, Dr Lee made room in her schedule to bring Henry in when we called and said he was not acting like himself. She immediately did the correct testing and made a diagnosis that is often overlooked and delayed. She saved his life. We take our other 2 dogs here as well and they have received exceptional care.
