Prices are as much as three times competitors and even though techs appear competent, they always try to “upsale” something I don’t need. I will never use their HVAC service again!

The young man was very polite and respectful. He said that it would take him about 45 minutes. He did a great job and completed the job in 45 minutes.

Alco charged me $85 just to give me an estimate for a gas line leak. The tech seemed weirdly excited pointing out “issues,” then quoted $1,900 just for a pressure test and two minor repairs—it easily could’ve been more. They also quoted $4,300 to replace the whole system. I got a second opinion (for free), and another company did the pressure test and fixed everything in 30 minutes for $140—or $2,200 to replace the entire system if needed.
