Delicious meal.
It was a great evening with wonderful service. We loved the overall experience! The only thing I would’ve liked differently is if the crab soup had some crab in it besides just the cream, and the braised beef short rib was a little off. Normally this is my favorite meal, but I’m not sure I would order it here again. The meat did not have much flavor to it, but the steak was amazing! It may have just been an off night for the rib. Everything else was absolutely amazing!
It's been a few years since I've enjoyed a meal at Alexander's. Richard, our server, and the rest of the staff were courteous & attentive. My meal was delicious as well as my friends. It is a lovely evening out. And we were able to take advantage of the early bird which made it even better.
My husband and I went for restaurant week. I ordered off of the restaurant week menu. We both ordered She Crab soup. Since I ordered off the special menu there was no crab in my soup. My husband ordered off of the regular menu and his soup had plenty of crab meat. We inquired and were told that if you order the special menu the soup comes without the crab meat. The Prime Rib was fair at best. Wouldn't be in a hurry to return when there are so many better restaurants in Hilton Head to choose from.

Went for early bird special had a salad. prime rib, carrots and mashed potatoes. Wonderful food. Friendly staff. Our waitress Donna has worked there for 22 years which says a lot about her and the establishment. Best meal we had on the island.
