Not sure why, but we have been coming to Hilton Head for thirty years and have never been to Alexander’s, so this time, instead of the Old Oyster Factory, we decided to go to Alexander’s. Turned out to be a good idea, as it was a lot closer (driving just about anywhere on HHI becomes more of a pain in the neck with each passing year) and we enjoyed it. We were on property for a conference and decided to give the restaurant a shot. We were glad we did...it was excellent.
Excellent evening with my family! Our waitress, Sara, handled everything without a rush to turn the table. The food was the best we've had on the island this trip. A hidden gem!
Our group of six women friends from NH were visiting the island for the first time. With so many restaurants from which to choose, we selected Alexander’s based on its proximity to the Arts Center of Carolina (saw Evita which was outstanding), the chance to see a bit of beautiful Palmetto Dunes, and the early dining menu sealed the deal.
