I had such a great interaction with their CSR, that after my multiple mile (Solon to shaker) was changed I felt I needed to use them for a simple moving of a floor change in the SAME building! My shaker move was quoted at $500, 1-bedroom apartment. Seemed fair? This move was literally a 3pc living room set, and an oversized chair. Nothing else. AVOID!! They are not forth-coming when giving a quote, even after you ask. Very terrible business practices. They hike up prices the day before a scheduled move thinking you will have no other option.
0/1,000 is my rating. They broke expensive furniture and then tried to claim they’re only liable for $0.60/lb. “Sorry we broke your $1,000 piece of furniture. Too bad it only weighs 100 lbs. Here’s $60 to replace it.”
The worst moving company to work with. Showed up late, took their time, broke multiple pieces of furniture. A very lowball offer to compensate for broken furniture. Ate food on the clock. Charged us for time the movers spent trying to fix broken items. Please do yourself a favor and stay away from this company. 0 stars although they dont allow me to choose any. Very deceptive
Terrible experience. 2 of the 4 guys had never moved before, their first time. Much damage done to my furniture. Most damage due to no blankets wrapping the furniture. Since I neglected to purchase additional insurance, I was compensated at $.60/lb. So $1600 worth of repairs netted me $379. Run away from All My Sons!!!!!
RecommendedLeonte Lawler and crew were prompt, professional and took great care with our furniture and other items. They did a great job. Update: it was discovered while unpacking that the TV was cracked. Have been trying to file an insurance claim for the cost to replace and can’t get anyone to respond to me. Very disappointing considering the great experience we had with the moving crew.
Eric and Darnell were awesome! Absolutely amazing! Jalen in the office however, was not. Starting off they changed my move time twice, then part way through the unload the third guy on the crew walked off the job. Just quit. Was told that they could only refund me a few dollars. When I called to discuss my displeasure, was told it wasn’t their fault, they can’t control the people they hire, and that they wouldn’t do anything for me. Movers were very friendly, considerate, professional, efficient. The office staff was not so. I booked over a month in advance, was quoted a price just over $500 with a 2 hour minimum work time plus fuel surcharge and 1 hour travel time to and from shop. I was told i would likely receive a call in the middle of the month to confirm everything. Never received a call. 5 days before the move, i called to confirm and was told nothing was finalized and they would call me back. Did not recieve a call back. Call again the next day... read more
We moved twice in 4 month period of time. We used this company to move both times. The first time we moved, it was great, hence, why we chose to have them move us the second time. The second move was terrible. First and foremost, they went to the wrong location then had to go to the right location setting us back almost 2 hours. They get to our new house and start unloading the trucks. We explained where everything should go.
