Ronnell and crew did an okay job at best. Would I hire them again probably not. Knicks in the wall they were not gonna tell me about until I noticed it and said something. They were supposed to arrive between 8:30 AM through 9:00 AM they ended up arriving around 9:50 AM. The day of delivery, They had some truck trouble we’re not able to make it till 11:30 PM. Very unprofessional, charged me 2x the amount they quoted me for and took their time loading and unloading so they could add more time for more money. Broke multiple glass items as well as other items and the way they packed my storage unit looks like a kindergartner did it. They stacked heavy, plastic boxes on top of cardboard boxes with the label “Breakable” or “fragile” on them and then stacked my dining room chairs on the very top of the boxes. I did not have a good experience with All My Sons. Proceed with caution if you are considering them for your next move. What seemed like a very organized operation leading up to moving day turned out to be quite the opposite. Ken, the operations manager for the company, did not follow through. WARNING! They advertise as being licensed, bonded, & insured; I felt confident in choosing them over the other companies I spoke with. They shattered our brand new 65” tv, disposed of it in their dumpster in the rain without our knowledge, apologized for it, and assured me that they would take care of us if we were nice about it. But their “insurance” is only offering us $150 towards the damages. No thank you. A 1-day, 6-mile move at $2,500 has now cost us $3,300. So heartbroken we went with All My Sons. Alex and his people damaged some furniture because they didn't wrap or cover to protect those even though I asked them several times to do it. Alex the main guy tried to deny the damages on the furniture and acted like the soiled mattress and box springs were no big concern. He stated it just got a little dirty. It would not have happened if the mattress and the box springs were all covered/protected. They also didn't cover or protect the piano, 2 bed frames including headboards and footboards. Absolutely terrible move. They destroyed a bunch of stuff, but the craziest of all is all of my wife’s wedding China. They literally put 12 plates together wrapped as a group once with paper, yet they individually wrapped kitchen spices 🙄. I’m gathering all the info for an insurance claim where I’m sure I get nothing, but at least I can fight them in court for a few years for fun. That legal degree will finally become useful!
I’ll start with the positive because there is a big one. Our move had to be rescheduled several times and they were accommodating. The movers didn’t have an Allen wrench to take apart a desk so I had to run to my new house to get one. Half an hour later, they realized they didn’t have a Phillips screwdriver either. My mother in law came to the rescue dropping one off. When we got to the new house, the credit card reader wasn’t working so they had to call in my card manually. Told me it was declined.
