My husband and I hired the Newport News office of All My Sons Moving & Storage to facilitate moving our belongings out of our home and into a storage unit. The move occurred in May 2021. During the course of the move, employees of All My Sons destroyed or damaged numerous items of our personal property and caused damage to our home. Value Absolutely the worst experience ever. These people are thieves!!!! Be prepared to pay 300$ in fuel charges for a 15 minute drive. They also charge you 225$ an hour for their drive to and from your house, like before the move starts and after the move is over. They charge for materials they don't use. There are so many hidden fees. They also took an hour long lunch break and charged me 225$ for that hour as well. I had questions about the contract that was sent and noticed some extra fees so I asked lots of questions and two days before my move I was told by Mike that his general manager didn’t feel confident about my move and canceled it. I’m actually glad they did because I was able to move for far less money and everything worked out wonderfully. Worst customer service experience dealing with the office staff ever. I will ensure no one I actually like ever uses this company again. Arrogant, nasty and just rude are three words to describe the office staff.
Worst moving company EVER! They will steal your money and then LIE about it! DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY! They are not reputable! If you don’t believe me check the reviews Yelp and the Better Business Bureau.
damaged my friends apartment (holes in wall, broke glass) not only did they not tell her about it they loaded up, drove her belonging to her new place then demanded more money from her to get her belongings. never ever advise using someone who will take your belongings and blackmail you!
Be ware of dealing with this company! Not the crew that came to move but the management or leadership, terrible. You hire a moving company so your move will be stress free but this company made It more stressful for us. We ended up having to sleep on the floor due to the movers coming late and couldn’t deliver our goods until the next day. They made it seem like it would get done fast because they were sending 5 people instead of 3.
