Pretty much they were late, broke some of our items and tried to extort us and hold our items hostage I would never ever recommend them to anyone not even my worst enemy
The movers had to move my 10 by 30 storage that was literally my whole house. I was asked specifically was big items were there.. which was 4 fully furnished bedrooms, 2 love seats and 2 sofas, garage items, 2-3 TVs and about 40 boxes. They reassured me they can move it all blah blah blah, pay per hour.. ok. Don’t recommend unless you’re ok with double the price quoted, them rescheduling the day of the move, them showing up late the following day, and still not moving some of your furniture so you end up having to do it with your 69 year old dad 😉 they’ll give you $25 off if you give a 5 star review though!
This company is the WORST business I have worked with in a long time! I was referrred to them by Home Advisor. I should have checked Yelp and Facebook first. They have terrible reviews! We set up a time for them to pack and pick up and they were 4 hours late. When they arrived they decided not to nothing. They said they would come back the next day. But they did not come back! I called nearly 2 weeks in advance to cancel my move with them. I explained why several times and Melissa kept saying the didn’t understand why, after receiving the breakdown of everything, I still wanted to cancel. I feel like explaining myself 3-4 times is more than enough, and at that point requested the move be canceled and our $1000 deposit be refunded. This company is a joke! So extremely unprofessional! They moved slower than molasses in the wintertime. We had to call in friends and family to help move things into their truck so we would be done this century! One guy was constantly face timing his girlfriend while the other two would stand around doing nothing. It took them an hour and a half to drive the furniture 1 MILE! I was comparing prices for an upcoming move. While researching companies, moving companies “magically” appeared as ads on FB. The add said I could receive a free quote from area movers. I requested a quote, 20 mins later, I received a call from All My Sons moving company in Newport News. Worst. Company. Ever. Do not use these people. I was moving from a one bedroom apartment to a small house. I’d spent about a month doing most of the smaller items like clothes, kitchen items, etc and had emptied most everything out of my place. I had my furniture and maybe 10 boxes to move. I was quoted at $119 and hour with 2 hour minimum. I was told they’d charge me an hour for travel. extra charges added from the initaial call. manager did work with me. then the movers scraped down the side of the stucco building and i sent pics to GM. he pretty much said no damage to the truck and for me to wipe down building. they scraped into the stucco , not something you can wipe off. never again with this company.
