Food was not great and did not taste authentic at all. Overpriced and not high quality ingredients. Ambiance was nice though
You were only able to order from a limited menu of Valentine’s Day so you couldn’t order from the regular menu. The restaurant really wanted to maximize their income therefore they squeezed random tables all over the restaurant and you could practically hear everyone’s conversation. Lastly, my plate came out 30 minutes before my partners and when they looked into it they then decided to tell us what he ordered ran out so he needed to choose something he didn’t even want due to a limited/select menu. It was also pricey for th... read more
The server was attentive and the place is cute however the food was not we would consider real italian, more like Olive Garden without the breadstick and salad. We ordered choppino and lobster ravioli. The seafood in the the choppino was pre fried and added to some tomato broth. The ravioli (four) contained very little lobster and also didn’t care for it.
My wife and I spent our 10 year anniversary here. The menu looked delicious so I booked right away. I also mentioned that we were celebrating our 10 year milestone. All we received was, "happy anniversary" from our hostess. I expected special seating, a dessert or something. Our meals were overcooked and flavorless. My steak was COVERED in a mushroom like sauce or gravy. It was just excessive. I didn't receive all of my sides. The best part of the meal was the Brussel sprouts. Our server didn't approach us much to be able to... read more
Our server Didn’t really tell us about the chef special. It was quite a sad experience because we have heard a lot of good about this restaurant for the price that we paid we thought for sure we would have a better quality of food.
The location, ambiance and service were great. The food was not, however. Very mediocre for the price point. I did expect more, unfortunately. My wife's risotto was not cooked right, and the shrimp were overcooked. They took care of it, but still it was a disappointment.
Anywhere else in Little Italy would be better than this. I’m a local and I felt like I just wasted money at a tourist trap. Don’t spend your money here. The staff is disorganized and have no idea what hospitality means. They can’t even make a decent Caesar salad. Look elsewhere
Smelled like gasoline in the restaurant, management did not care. My husband and I are very ill- Would not go again.
The food was extremely disappointing for the price this restaurant charges. The lasagne was very dense and lacking flavor. The seafood in the Cioppino was rubbery and overcooked and the tomato sauce didn’t taste fresh. Even the kids bolognese pasta had a strange flavor that both our kids noticed. We paid $200 for a meal that was less than mediocre. The waiter tried his best, but the quality of the food was very low.
