food was really bad, never sent back an order before till I came here. Do not order the bone marrow.. Sorry but it was terrible, stale bread, dry.

I had high hopes for this place, but it’s possible that a year of Covid has us all clamoring to try something new. It was extremely busy... frantic, I would say. We were seated outside with no heater. Food came out lukewarm. Our server was very knowledgeable and attentive but obviously stretched too thin. Overall, extremely disappointing.

Good job on interior. Very well done. Even outdoor seating /area is done v well. Place was happening on Friday night. We were seated promptly. Food..was average at best. Would not go back for food. There are way too many good options now in San Diego for ‘amazing’ food be it Italian or any other cuisine. Great spot for happy hour /drinks.

The pasta dishes were the star of the night, and were well done. But that’s about it. The crab cake appetizer was luke warm at best with some wilted store bought mixed greens that were unappealing. The bone marrow appetizer was absolutely lackluster, and the bread that accompanied it was tough and stale. Server was friendly, but there was a lot happening, and overall was slow. As for the ambiance... Lights dim, lights bright. Music as a background noise, then to club level volume. Very loud. Not likely to re-visit.

The service and waitstaff was truly amazing. The food was terrible, lacked flavor and had no charm. Tried 7 dishes within our table and unfortunately no one enjoyed any of them. We did not want to complain to staff because they were doing a wonderful job. For such an expensive dinner we expected so much better. Serving sauces with expensive steak should not be done. Dry bone marrow with stale bread is not enjoyable either. We will give it another try but hope for some improvements in the kitchen!

I completely ignored all of the bad reviews. Well let’s just say that I shouldn’t have. Service was awful! Our server Stephan was a nice guy, but all over the place. Forgot my food, would never come check on us, wouldn’t bring drinks, took 30min to get check. Just awful experience. Hostess were also very rude and the other servers were not helping either. No team work! Anyways I do hope they do a better training service on their staff and please stop giving servers more table then they can handle.

First experience to this restaurant, food was good but overall experience was poor. No designated server per table, we had to flag someone down separately each time for water, appetizers, entrees, parmesan cheese and the check. We noticed several other tables having to do the same thing to get service. No one checked on us, no designated employee roles. Servers yelling at other servers right in front of our table. Too many great Italian places in San Diego, will not be coming back.

Pretty overpriced for the dishes it serves. The person at the reception asked us if we could sit at the bar before even checking to see if there was an open table. We were seated at a wobbly table after arriving for our reservation. It was busy, which I understand. But the waiter kept forgetting things we asked for including fresh bread. In fact another waiter brought it to us when he noticed we weren't served any. Our waiter kept apologizing but continued the same behaviour and was talking to other customers longer than he ... read more
