This was our first visit. Our server was great. However the food was mediocre and it took forever to get our main course. Papparadelle sauce was watery and tasteless. The zucchini flowers were fried with a thick crust which took away from the flavor of the vegetable. With so many other choices of places to eat in Little Italy we won’t be returning to Allegro.
Service was terrible, food was not good at all ! I had the the sea bass, it was over cooked and was bland.
Food great and service attentive. No parking, near by paid lots ($18-$20/night)
Waited over 30 mins past our reservation. Host asked us our info multiple times , could not seat us . We got to our table and the tables were combined and different levels so it was hard for our group . My drink didn’t taste good and the server has no other recommendations.
The service is horrible. Will not go back again. I’m not sure what their concept is but the servers there prefer to attend bigger tables and make them priority for I guess bigger tips. Food took an hour and a half. We waited like 45 min to order our food. They checked on us twice literally the entire time there. Do not recommend
This place is nice, food was good, drinks were even better. Major disappointment was that I made a reservation for inside and instead they tried seating my boyfriend and I way far outside and on the street. I reminded the host that I booked for an inside table and then he said all he could give me was a small cocktail table to eat dinner at. Kinda rude and unprofessional and he really gave this place a bad name for a first impression. I probably won’t return.
All the food was AMAZING!! However I don’t recommend going if you’re planning on going with friends and want to have time to chat... we felt rushed throughout the entirety of our dinner... we were constantly asked if we were done when we were still eating and at the end our waiter told us we have 5 minutes to leave bc the next reservation shows up. Food took over an 1 hour and 30 minutes after ordering entrees but the food was great when it did come.
Sat in the bar area, the bartender was our server so he was pretty busy. Asked for our salad ahead of time but he ordered it the same time as our entrees which was annoying and made us feel rushed. The salmon was barely room temp and the shrimp he must’ve been an employee or a partner there. The server took the fettuccine off the bill but an apology from a manager or something other than “I gotchu” would’ve been more appropriate. Very disappointing experience, definitely will not be back.
