My friend and I were visiting the area and decided to try Allegro. We were not disappointed as the service was great and we enjoyed a fantastic happy hour! 15$ for a dozen oysters. Christiane was the best server we have had at any restaurant out here by far! Very friendly and we felt like we were waiting too long for anything.

Starting when we arrived for our reservation the hosts were disorganized and that disorganization continued through the night. The food was good, but not great. The service was ok, except they forgot to bring my entree. It took a long time, but they were crowded so I expected to wait. After 20-30 minutes the waiter came and asked if we wanted desert. What a great first experience! We met up with a friend and we wanted to try something new. Allegra did not disappoint. The food was good but what made it an excellent experience was our waiter Joesph! He was professional, personable, and one of the reasons why we’d go back. There is amazing food in Little Italy… but what sets restaurants apart is their staff. Nailed it! We’ll be back.
Food was delicious! Only thing was my drink wasn’t strong, but it might be strong for others LOL!
