Absolute terrible company. Would leave negative stars if I could. My son was moving from Bham to Dallas for a new job. Initial conversation was with Dalton Rogers. Of course he agreed to and promised everything. Guaranteed a Wednesday, April 7th pickup in Birmingham, Alabama, between 12 noon and 4pm, and a Thursday, April 8th drop off in Dallas, Tx. between 5pm and 6pm. I have to start by saying they did a good job at the beginning, They moved my furniture to their storage facility seeing that we had not found a place to live at that point. In December we moved into an apartment and they delivered and set up the furniture that we asked for with no issues. Then when I was going to take out the balance of my furniture and move it to another storage facility that is when I had issues. I had set up a two stop delivery. I have no idea how they have so many good reviews, because my experience was horrifying. First of all, they contract movers, and do not stand by the workers they hire and leave you on your own. Apparently the disclosure protects them and gives them the ability to rob you blind while destroying everything you love. Their movers loaded their truck, then decided I had to pay double on the spot else they were leaving with my things. This is was a threat after they had all my items!!!!! I wish I had read these reviews first. This company is a nightmare! Promised me certain moving dates and now renegaded on them....I cannot change my schedule.... time for better business bureau and lawyers...

Absolutely horrible experience. We signed up with Alliance after some research and they gave us a reasonable quote. Shortly before moving day, we learned they had subcontracted out our move to another company (D United Logistics, rated 1.2 on Google and 1.5 on Yelp, a company we never would have chosen) but we were committed at this point and without options. Moved from IL to VA and used this company. Ended up choosing Alliance because of their good "reviews" even though they were a little more expensive because we wanted to avoid a bad experience. Right off the back, I ran into payment issues with them saying I didn't pay and I had clear proof that I in fact did. When trying to call customer service, I waited on hold for over a half of an hour before opting to leave a message just to never get a callback. This company has been a nightmare. They are not honoring their contract and Lee asking for more money. As we speak they have our household goods hostage and won’t deliver until more money is given to them. We are being the process of a lawsuit. Stay away from this company. Total nightmare. We have been leaving without our stuff for over a week. We move only a six hour moved.

Horrible, dishonest company. They refuse to refund your deposit and hike up the price of their “ binding” quote on moving day. Once you have your stuff loaded and it’s time for a payment, your belongings suddenly become larger and heavier and you are charged extra to the tune of $800- thousands more. You call customer service and ask to speak to your moving rep. They are terrible. It went great on the phone for the set up and all the front end talks, but now they have not showed up to pick up my belongings. It was guaranteed for Monday and it is now Wednesday and they are saying it could be two more days! Our closing was supposed to be today. Customer service is great when signing you up , the terrible when at this point. I can’t get anyone to call bacK!
