I had a original GE opal Ice maker not even 3 months in it quit. Called GE they said we won't help even though it was still under factory warranty called the protection plan people they said sure filed a claim got my $399 dollars back and can keep my broken machine for scrap or to fix
Everyone I worked with was so efficient and professional all the way thru the claim process. I will be purchasing All State extended warrantees for future major appliances.
