The rep was very persistant that there was a setting to fix the talking menu. Finally he said check with the factory remote controk. Low and behold another setting. It is fixed at last. No service call needed for repair Thanks Allstate!!

The protection plan was put into effect quickly, and they did their best to offer us a similar item even when the original one was not available.
We've had AllState/SquareTrade insurance from the beginning of our dealings with Consumer Cellular, and over the years they've replaced our cell phones twice due to damage or simple wear and rear. Each time we've received replacement phones they've been comparable to the technology of the time and in excellent condition; even gave us a week to get our information on our old phone transferred to the replacement.
