I had purchased an additional 2-year warranty from Square Trade, but from experience with other insurance companies, I expected them to make every excuse not to pay for this repair. However, they were very cooperative and even approved having the repair done at Apple instead of sending the machine to Square Trade. "Recently my iPhone 6 which was only 2 years old and under warranty just died. Nothing would reboot it. Square Trade recommended a local repair shop which was not able to revive it either. After calling Square Trade back, providing the details of the issue, I was able to get my replacement iPhone 6 the next day AND they exchanged my 16gb phone for a 64gb replacement! That's service! Thanks Square Trade for a great experience!"
