I acquired a warranty through Amazon, through SquareTrade. It was for an automotive amplifier that I'd installed myself. The original warranty from the corporation did not cover devices not installed by an authorized dealer. Originally, when I tried to process my warranty online, it said to refer it to the manufacturer. Ended up having to call SquareTrade to explain this to them, but immediately they issued me a mailing label and I was able to easily ship it to them for repair. I normally do not buy warranties but beings it was inexpensive at Sams and included an extra year there was no way to lose. They replace the item if they can, if they cannot fix your problem then they give you the money to get a new one. I called and spoke to someone without having to wait a long time and they were very helpful. I would definitely buy this warranty on any future electronics.

Great customer service, great phone experience. SquareTrade phone reps communicated clearly over phone and via email and I received a new LED TV within a week... this is how it's supposed to work!
