Mum didn't want to go anywhere for respite care but the staff made the 2 weeks easier for her to deal with such a difficult situation. The home is welcoming. Well lead by Jess and her team. Nothing was too much trouble and any minor issues were dealt with very quickly. Jess was always very responsive to emails and spoke to mum regularly during her stay. Allt Y Mynydd care home staff did so much to encourage my mother to feel welcome there. It is a friendly place, and everyone is so very kind. The rooms are nice and spacious. I am so very grateful for all they did for my mother.

An incredible team of staff who made me feel very welcome from the start. Everyone has gone above and beyond. My Mum was treated with dignity at all times. I couldn't have asked for better care. The Support given to me meant more than I can say, making a difficult time easier. I am truly grateful for the care and kindness both my mum and I were shown. I currently have a family member who is a resident at Allt y Mynydd Nursing Home. He is happy there and over time has settled in well. The staff are kind and helpful and he feels that they are now a part of his family. All his needs are met, with a healthy balance of independence from having his own room and the opportunity of dining and partaking in various activities with other residents. We as family are treated with respect and kept well informed. Always greeted with a smile!

I have been here a month now and I cannot speak highly enough of the home. The staff are so very friendly and helpful and nothing is too much trouble for them no matter what time of the day you need their help. In the hot spell that we've just had the staff made sure that the patients were alright plenty to drink and kept us cool as as possible but they must've been melting in the heat themselves. I am so grateful to all the staff for taking good care of my mum. I cannot fault anyone. The staff were excellent with their kind, respectful dignity that they gave towards my mum. My mum could not have had this level of care anywhere else. I myself would like to thank everyone for the care they gave in the last days of her life.

What a lovely, dedicated team of carers you have at Allt Y Mynydd. It's a pleasure to see that you provide the utmost care, dignity and comfort to my son, who is suffering from FTD a very cruel disease. I always get a warm welcome when I visit and the atmosphere is good.

It took mum a little while to settle and also for me to trust staff with her care. However, I was relieved to discover the team overall is really caring and kind. They try hard to understand mum's needs and to keep her settled and happy. The activities provided for residents are lovely and the home are good at maintaining links with family.
