What a lovely, dedicated team of carers you have at Allt Y Mynydd. It's a pleasure to see that you provide the utmost care, dignity and comfort to my son, who is suffering from FTD a very cruel disease. I always get a warm welcome when I visit and the atmosphere is good.

It took mum a little while to settle and also for me to trust staff with her care. However, I was relieved to discover the team overall is really caring and kind. They try hard to understand mum's needs and to keep her settled and happy. The activities provided for residents are lovely and the home are good at maintaining links with family. My aunt has been at Allt Y Mynydd Nursing Home near on 1 year. During her time, she has been given the utmost care. Her wound has healed, but unfortunately, she is now unable to walk (possibly due to old age or lack of movement). The staff are extremely courteous and very caring. Food wise, I feel the standard should be better - some days it's very good, some days not. It would be good on times if the staff would check to see if the patient are eating their food! All in all, it's an excellent place.

My mother went into the home late Nov 2025. At first she was not happy as adjusting to not living in her own home, but now she loves it. They do so many things to keep them active in mind, food is excellent, and the staff are fabulous, everyone is so nice and helpful, they can not do enough for her.

I have received very good care since arriving at the time late November 2025. The staff and manager are so caring, and the food is fab, can not fault it. I have a lovely room, and I am very happy here, thank you.

Allt Y Mynydd is a great place to put old people in for care because it is a friendly, clean place, and the staff are always very helpful at all times.

My brother was cared for during end of life as an advanced cancer patient. Staff provided exceptional care in challenging circumstances and gave my brother dignity and comfort in his last days. The care provided extended to visiting family who were kept well informed and treated with great kindness.
