I was very happy with the way my husband was looked after by all of the staff. They made what had been a very difficult time much more tolerable for both him and me. Thank you all.

Mother was a resident at Allt y Mynydd from July 2018 until she passed away in March 2020. The last fortnight was particularly difficult for the Family but the care and support of all the staff made it easier. Mother was far better off in the home than she would have been in Hospital. The care was exemplary. Family could come and go at all hours of the day and night. We were as much looked after as my Mother the resident. My mother has been resident at Allt Y Mynydd Home, Llanybydder for the last 12 months. The care provided by the home and the staff have been outstanding. The care, compassion, dignity and professionalism of the staff have been wonderful. The home is resident focused and driven. They have activities all day and hold a residents forum where they are given an opportunity as to what activities they want to do. I went to Allt Y Mynydd for the first time last week to visit a relative who had recently moved to the home. I had been worried about what I might find given the horror stories we hear about care homes but I needn’t have worried. The surroundings are beautiful and the atmosphere in the home was so cheerful and friendly. The staff were chatty and helpful and I could see that they all had such a good rapport with the residents with lots of laughter throughout. My grandmother has been a resident of Allt Y Mynydd care home for almost a year. The decision for her to become a long term resident in a residential home was a difficult one at the time. The care, support and upkeep at Allt Y Mynydd has made the transition a very positive experience. As a family, we are happy that our grandmother is being cared for to the best possible standard. The home is a truly wonderful place. Always has a nice smell and very clean. Staff are ace and the manager is very helpful and friendly. Would definitely recommend this home to anyone looking for a place for a special one.

I visit monthly and the home is always clean and odour free. Staff are fantastic and the activities are brilliant. Always offered tea/coffee and biscuits. My cousin is very well looked after and I feel happy knowing she is happy.

The home is beautifully kept. It's like going home. The staff are wonderful and always smiling. It's always a pleasure to visit. A cup of tea is always offered. Marvellous place.

The staff are excellent and all chosen to contribute to the family atmosphere. The home suffers from lack of spend from Ashberry.
