We chose Alta Vista Senior Living because it was one of the lower costing ones in the area, they had a special going on at the time, and on top of it we were happy with the facility and were aware that they were going through remodeling. Everyone we had contact with was super nice and were willing to work with us. The sizes of the rooms here are great especially compared to others that we looked into, definitely spacious for a studio. The care you get for the money is a very good value. They are open to feedback and respond quickly when you have any questions. I feel they are a little understaffed on the memory care side. I would recommend this community to others.

We had moved our father there ( after being in two other facilities) for about four years before he passed. The place was amazing. There are absolutely no complaints about this place. After Mom had passed, a Dad was not able to live alone. He did fine at the other places, we just kept moving him closer to us. However he came alive with all the friendly people, good food and all the activities!! The place was always clean and friendly. The care wonderful and a great value to boot.

We chose Alta Vista Senior Living because we had stayed here for respite. Also, the staff is friendly, it is a small community, and the bathroom was in his room. He is in the memory care unit so it it locked at all times. Overall we thought it would be a better fit for him. They do a great job keeping residents occupied with activities. The best part about the community is the director and the staff members, they are very helpful and on top of everything. I would recommend to others.
