The annual premiums were approaching $600. When you add in the deductible per service call of $125 you are at $725 for one service call a year. Unless things are breaking left and right it's just not worth it. Plus the service companies that show up are random and you do not get to get the "I can always trust this team" experience.

I've had to pay 2x for the same job, but that said, they have been very helpful and when my heater went out during a cold spell I had same day service
