So apparently this place still sucks.. we scheduled our pool opening later than usual because of the cooler than normal summer we still had in June 2019. Because of this.. we were scheduled today, July 22nd. Our pool needs a new liner, needs to be realigned and additional sand put underneath. We were aware of this.. my mom scheduled this and spoke to a Megan who confirmed and set this all up for 07/22 between 1-3p. I have mixed feeling about this place. I received great customer service when buying my pool. I received help when my pool installation was not as hoped. My issue is that they are aware that Midwest pool are not returning customers calls and are doing bad installs and are still selling pool and buyers are mot aware how many customers have cancelled their orders. I purchased a pool from American sale in Bridgeview, also along with the warranty for the pool. When the pool was installed the liner was folded and left to see on the outside with a terrible job done. The pool was purchased in 2015. I went to American Sale store and was notified I had warranty for 25years. I called to see if the warranty could be claimed because the pool began to rust up along with the liner fading. I usually don't leave reviews after a purchase... BUT IM SOOO DISSAPOINTED with the way the installation and communication has been. I give one star only because of the salesperson who helped us with the purchase. After that bad experience. We purchased a pool mid April so that we can enjoy it for the summer and here we are almost two months later (6/11) and the items are sitting in my garage yet to be installed. Hard to get a hold of someone after the purchase of the merchandise. Purchased a pool and when it was delivered the delivery guy said they didnt have the chlor-in part in stock, they had run out weeks ago and that I should call the store. When I called the store to ask about when it would be in stock they were rude and kept me on hold for a long time. I had to call 4 separate times and wait on hold for over 40 mins each time. I ordered some outdoor christmas decorations online. This is the WORST experience I've had with an online store. When you are purchasing they seem to be able to answer the phone and return your emails, BUT when you want to return something and get your money back, all of a sudden you get the recording "everyone is busy, leave your name and number and someone will get back to you" but they NEVER DO ! This place is like two different stores - one store when you are shopping and buy something, and another store entirely when you go to pick up your order. I will say the prices are generally pretty good, though. First, buying: There were 3-4 helpful, seemingly-knowledgeable sales people(all kids, I'd say under age 20) offering assistance and answering questions without any sort of pressure to buy.
