Ever time I've gone there, the workers have either been rude, or oblivious about the products they're selling. And for those who might not know, if a package has been opened, regardless of whether you have the receipt or not, they don't offer refunds or store credit.

DO NOT GO THERE! The worst customer service in the history of mankind. These people only care about one thing only-taking your money. We purchased a pool from them in March, they had their third party installer install it. American Sale washes their hands after they deliver the pool. The pool was not level. We went to the Bridgeview store and the apathetic store manager said "you gotta call customer service". We called several times no one got back to us. these guys have the worst customer service ever!!!! i couldn't find anyone else to fix our hot tub so we just delt with there bs. they have come out to our home multiple times. because they say "you don't need to be home" they would say that things were fixed and they weren't so we would have to reschedule. they repaired our pump for $1100 saying that they gave us a $200 deduction because we paid for them to come out and let us what was wrong. we ordered the 2 parts that they said we needed. after 12 weeks the parts co... read more

I found a place long ago in Indiana,near Bremen Indiana,which I liked a lot.It was in a place they call rent town ,at Yoder's grocery store and outside benches to swing on.We really enjoyed the food and everything we bought there.It was not to far from Nap a née Indiana on US route #6.This area has a lot of Amish Farmers and the region and vicinity is very clean.And Yoder's grocery store has some of the best Amish cooks in the State of Indiana.We do like some of their food which is very delicious.If you go their you will be ... read more

If you are going to limit the amount of chlorine per person then take the bags out of the boxes instead of leaving the bags in sealed boxes

We do have signs throughout the store stating that "we have the right to reserve quantities of chlorine products" due to the chlorine shortage the whole country has been experiencing this summer. Unfournately, we have to limit quantities to ensure every customer is able to properly maintain their pool until the end of the season. We hope that the chlorine industry is back on track by next year and that this won't be an issue for pool owners.

We selected our pool last year and were promised that it would be installed by august of this year so we paid everything in the beginning of June it's now September and nothing. We didn't get any calls with an explanation, we called many times to ask about our pool and no one seem to know what was the problem. Talked to many managers who gave me so much attitude just because I would call to ask. After investigating this further, we do see that the Store Management had multiple attempts calling you to collect payment for the pool in order to reserve the order, but the mailbox was full. When the pool isn't paid off, it is unreserved and could go to another customer that has already paid their order. Don't waste you're time in here. The employees are extremely non-helpful. I dealt specifically with Cassie while the other employees stood around without masks on. Upon entering the building I was asked to put on a mask; while I scanned the building to see why the employees weren't wearing one Cassie grew angry as I still did not have one on. She explained to me that they take them off occasionally because they have to spend 8 working hours a day with them on ( no one chooses your job for you Cassie ), as I pointed out the e... read more

Hi Eric. After investigating this further, our video footage shows that our employees were fully masked when you came into our store. As a Cook County Mandate, we are required to have all our employees and customers masked while inside our store. Because you were unmasked, they asked you to wear one while in the store to follow the mandate. It is unfortunate that we're all in this situation, but we are required to follow each county's mask requirement and ensure safety for both our customers and staff.

Worst customer service I have ever received. Nothing but issues and complaints from day one. Also, called customer service and emailed everyday and never got a repose. They use unreliable companies that illegally dug on my property and left me with a mess. When I complained, corporate decided to call my installer, NEVER ME , and cancel my install because they didn't like my bad review on Yelp. Do you self a HUGE favor and go to Great Escape. American Sale is garbage and this how they treat a first responder.

Planning on purchasing our first above ground pool. Like any smart consumer , we are going around and price comparing and doing our research . Our first stop was the Great Escape. Sales person , Ray was so nice and gave us great information. Prices were also marked right on each pool. They also had installation prices listed for each size pool. Didn't feel pressure or mislead.
