Great product at a reasonable price. I live in ******, NM and had a 12'x20' carport installed. Able and his coworker had the structure erected in under 4 hours. Great team work and very professional. Would highly recommend!

I would select 0 stars if I could. The only good thing I have to say isnothing. They dont know who they contract out to build the sheds. There is no response and they tell you they will do something and you never hear from them again. I had a shed delivered and the installers completely vandalized my yard. I called American steel carports and they said I would need to reach out to the installersI had no information on these people because American steel contracted them out. Run for the hills ....I hired American Carport to build my shop while handling permitting. They insisted they wouldn't build without it which is fine. Finally after much time passed with no communication and after much nagging on the phone by us, they claimed to have the permit, I paid, and they built the building -- but they didn't actually secure the permit and my county says this building is not allowed. Id leave zero stars if I could. Irresponsible. Avoid at all costs. Delayed 2 days and finally showed up after 6:30pm Friday to install carport. Finished after midnight! Didnt use correct anchors. Left trash everywhere. Unstable. Had to get a separate contractor to fix it.

I think its a scam when they charge $2300.00 for a forklift to erect building and there is no forklift delivered. The installers tell you we can still put up your carport but we keeping the $2300.00 because we are the forklift

Terrible experience! First, they wanted me to tear down my camp prior to them even starting to build the awning. Then I asked for the awning to be all in black and it came with only the roof panels black. They installed it incorrectly the first time, removed all the base bars and did it again, installed it on top of the sewer line and the grey water line which pinched it so bad it backed up into the motorhome. Had a carport installed in 2024-extremely disappointed. Had a carport installed in 2025-much better. In 2024-poor communication from sales associate on engineering timeline, construction and scheduling. Sales associate would not return phone calls or emails - until a Manager was ccd on calls and emails. Had a difficult time doing basic math on contract. In 2025-much better communication from all. In 2024 was told engineering would be done in 2-3 weeks-came back in 6 with errors and had to be sent back to an out sourced group... read more
