Very poor customer service. They rejected my online order and no one knows who did it and why. They didn’t even care to inform us about it so we can work on it. Someone said she proceeded with the new order when I called but 10 days later nothing had happened. I just called and same answer. What kind of business is that when you have a big name? for 8 years have had good service, zero problems. found out in December i need a fill up, was told that it would be 2 week wait time. I had auto fill. it took many phone calls for their service associates to understand that it was zero degrees outside and being a senior citizen it was an emergency. It took my daughter whom lives out of state to explain she would call the tv station to let them know that they did not care about seniors in bad weather. We were customers with AmeriGas for several years, several months ago I canceled service and our entire neighborhood went with a new company. I continue to be billed even after everything was switched over seamlessly I thought. And I just recently had a conversation after I noticed a bill come through and I was told I owed zero thank God. AmeriGas is the WORST company to deal with. I was having trouble logging into my account, couldn't order a refill on my tank. (there are many more issues that occurred as well, my name being spelling wrong on my bill for months, unable to connect with customer service, no answers when calling, etc.) All of that being said, I decided to cancel service. Possibly the worst customer service ever. I have been purchasing their product at either Publix or Home Depot for years. Lately ever tank I exchange works one time. The next time I go yo use it the gas flow is very low and not enough to heat my grill. I change out the previous almost ne tank with another (same brand). That tank works well the first time; next time I go to use the grill, same problem. I suspect criminal accounting practices. Several types of fraud; mail, email, telephone. Told account was at $0.00, then began receiving invoices, late fees. Charged over $160.00 for THEM to pick up THEIR tank on my property. The description on the bill reads: 'Other Adjustments' Called, asked, no further info. This company is so unprofessional. They first promise free propane which I get the man made a mistake. After having to call multiple times for a delivery. Then I’m promised a discount for their error no discount. We switched companies since I’m constantly told I haven’t called them. We have called 7 times to get a tank picked up. They took 11 months to install my 500gal propane tank. 3 failed inspections, they charged me late fees for the duration as I refused to pay until the project was completed. They charged me $1000 over the estimate and that included service call fees to address the failed inspections. I had to contact a local news network to finally get them to finish the project. Worst company ever
