We moved to new house. Had existing tanks. Service tec came out to quote how much to move. Was here 5 minutes, quoted over $500. charged us $250 Paid. Asked them to remove, never said they would charge. Sent us a bill for $375. I am now in hole for over $500 and never used there company. ***************** worst I think Ive ever dealt with.

Total Scam of a company, I received a Promo email for .25 cents off my fill-up and 90 net pay well got the discount but then got a "hey your late pay us now" letter in the mail. I called customer service (ya that's a joke) and was told they would not honor the terms of the promo code and to resolve this I would need to allow them to pull my Credit, seriously!!! Got a supervisor on the phone and he put me on hold for 10 minutes while her "researched' the issue. he comes back on and tells me the Promo has expired, well ya it... read more

**************** is awful and non-existent. I have spent over 20 hours (14 over two days of which were to wait for the technician - which never showed) and the other 6 on phone calls trying to find out why they haven't shown up and when (date and time) they going to show up. As of this review, they were not able to give me a new date or time for the rescheduling. ***, I am an existing customer. My advice, NEVER use ********************** (I don't really have any other options so I am in purgatory).

Amerigas is the worst propane company. Once they get you started, there is a fee for everything they do. They do leak test every year. What a joke. I was home the last time and never saw anything they did except fill the tank. Rates are exorbitant! $4.32 gal in ********** NC compared to $2.99 with another company. You can't talk with anyone local. They are all overseas with kids screaming or adults partying in the background. Unprofessional, to say the least. So, we decided to go local. I have been with the company for 25 years. The last propane was $3.259 per gallon. Local competitor was charging $1.89 the exact same day. I understand some variances. However, I feel this is price gouging. Other option is to have the tank picked up. Oh yes, that will be $300. So most people live with it or that is what they hope will happen. Called for refill for home generator. Scheduled for 10/18/24 to 10/21/2024. Company called 10/21/2024 to reschedule. Rescheduled for 10/24/2024. Never showed up. Rescheduled for 10/28/2024.

I sold a 1950's era house in April/2024. The underground propane tank was on the property when I purchased the house in 2007. Because the house had been foreclosed on and rehabbed before my purchase, I received no info about the tank or who owned it. When I called Amerigas to fill it, they told me that they owned the tank and I had to agree to a rental contract with them and could not have any other company fill it. I am moving due to selling and buying a new house at the same time. I requested a final invoice showing the balance is PIF for closing. They stated they could not generate an invoice for another 30 to 45 days once the account close even though they had no problem generating a same day invoice when informed new owners would be moving into the place in less than a week.
