I'm signed up for automatic refill with Amerigas. I've been without heat and unable to use my stove for two weeks. The customer service line in India is completely useless. Their employees are very difficult to understand and they seem powerless to do anything for you. After five frustrating calls, I've been told that I'll need to wait another week for a delivery. Amerigas is the worst company I've ever dealt with.

If BBB had a rating worse than "F", AmeriGas deserves it. I am ready to abandon all my previously held aspirations and make it my life's work to discourage anyone from ever doing business with this inept and greedy organization. I am having issues with Amerigas? They showed up a couple weeks ago and I thought they filled my tank. They did not. I received a text stating there was additional work required at the property. I called their 800 number and got the main office, presumably in *****. Spent half hour with them and they scheduled for January 30th or 31st. They did not come. Then a message they would come Feb 1st, no show, but another message about work needed on my property. Called the Warsaw office, in *****, and now say coming today, Feb 3rd.... read more

I paid $300 extra last Thursday and was told it would be delivered the next day. 4 days later still no gas. I dont believe the driver on the last delivery brought 700 gallons 6 week ago and its gone. Please can someone contact me?

I recently bought a house and closed on Jan 21 2025, we called a couple of days later to the number listed on the propane tank they would have someone come out and inspect everything and fill the tank, before that could be done i had to pay ****** to open the account. My son is the one that called so they set the Account up under him but i prepaid with my CC ..They came out found to be a leak out side where the valve was that was on 1/23/2025, said someone else would have to fix that first then they could come back out and f... read more

BETTER READ THE FINE PRINT If you are look g for a company that will nickel and dime you and not disclose charges here is your company. Also funny that the name would insinuate that it is American based ie Amerigas but just call the number provided and you will find immediately that you call is connected over seas I would highly recommend using another company only reason I used them is due to there tank already being on my property ALL THERE TERMS AND CONDITIONS ON BILLS DISCLOSE THERE WILL BE A *** BUT THE *** ITSELF IS NO... read more

They let me run out with late delivery again. Charged me to close the valve to prevent low propane odor in my home. Charged me a leak test. Finally deliver and can't unlock it. I wait 5 additional days for unlock only to wrongfully fail a leak test that cost me $483 through a plumber. They also charge almost double the competition. Representatives lie, if they answer you. A total of over $840 in extra fees due to not delivering in time on their end.

We have been taken advantage of and overcharged by this company on numerous occasions. Although we have to prepay before gas is delivered, they continue to send us bills that are not applicable. Then they tack on late fees if we do not pay. We have called to dispute this and the customer service representatives are hard to understand, nor do they understand the issue. They sent us a copy of our annual billing which do not align with their services to our property, as well as do not match the days of service.

The most HORRIBLE experience I have ever had with this company. They were expected to come and repair my propane tank that was leaking. It took them a week to come and inspect my tank for the issue. Not only did they not reconnect the service line, the tank is STILL LEAKING. They expect for you to pay your bill but they do not care about the consumer safety. I have yet to hear from anyone in regards to this issue. 2 weeks and counting!
