This company is so unprofessional. They first promise free propane which I get the man made a mistake. After having to call multiple times for a delivery. Then I’m promised a discount for their error no discount. We switched companies since I’m constantly told I haven’t called them. We have called 7 times to get a tank picked up. They took 11 months to install my 500gal propane tank. 3 failed inspections, they charged me late fees for the duration as I refused to pay until the project was completed. They charged me $1000 over the estimate and that included service call fees to address the failed inspections. I had to contact a local news network to finally get them to finish the project. Worst company ever
Idaho Amerigas: I received a "top off" 7 days before I moved in to my new home. I received another bill for a "fill up" 21 days after I moved in. They say that I somehow used $521 worth of propane in 21 days. In order to "resolve" the dispute they need to send someone out for a leak test. I told them upfront I needed a 125 gallon tank because my property could not accommodate anything larger. They told me no problem. Site surveyor comes out and tells me they don’t have that size tank and haven’t had them for four years. He also confirmed that I couldn’t have the larger size that they do have because my property can’t accommodate it. Duh! Just aweful, been waiting in them to remove a tank off my property for three months now and still waiting
Been charged multiple times when no one has even been to my house and I am suppose to be on will call. Takes about 6 months and 20 phone calls to get the charges reversed. Everytime I call they screw something up and will put in a service order and charge you when you are trying to get a service charge taken off since it was never requested and never completed. In the process of closing my account but they make it near impossible!
First of all, I am a senior citizen, on Social Security. So I, like many others, have to watch my spending. Amerigas is not a good company to do business with. The last few years, their rental rates have gone up and up. They are now charging me $203.00 for a yearly rental of two tanks. I was told that I would have to buy 660 gallons of propane per year in order to have no tank rental fee. We are new customers of Amerigas & had our tank filled to capacity on May 26th. We then receive another bill on June 13th for a "tank pull from road" according to the invoice, which was not physically possible since our tank was already at capacity. I have called at least twice a week since the beginning of July, filed several disputes & every time I call they say it had to be rebilled & give it 72 hours. Horrible company. I have been over-billed and have been calling to resolve it for over SIX MONTHS now. Each time the (overseas call center) representative tells me I am correct and they will get this taken off my bill. Only once in the last six months did it come off my bill only to have it pop back on again a week or two later. Each call is 30-60 minutes long, and no resolution.
