If I had the ability to not select a start at all that would have been my option. The absolute worst company to deal with. We have been with this company for over 30 years (before it was AmeriGas). This company has repeatedly refused to refund my credit balance of approximately $200.00 since November, due to a billing error on their part. I have gone online requesting my money back several times, plus made numerous phone calls requesting the same. I just get nowhere!! Last week someone in their resolutions dept. promised me a refund check with a week. I have been fighting with AmeriGas since November 19 regarding an unauthorized charge on my account. They sent out a customer service tech after I specifically told them not to because I did not want to pay $195 for them to check my tank and now I’ve been charged a late fee on top of the $195. My mother has ordered her gas from Amerigas from the office in Ocala, Florida for many years with no problems until they resourced their customer service. We ordered gas in the summer of 2020 or 2021 and the bill was paid. Within the last two years, I have called repeatedly to find out why AmeriGas keeps billing my mother for gas that we have not ordered or received. We cancelled an account with Amerigas in December of 2022. They have tried to charge us a year tank rent that was disconnected, It took Amerigas 11 months to pick up the disconnected tank after several phone calls, written requests, and even interrupting a company delivery driver. We have written to the company corporate office and the billing department to dispute the bill but no resolution. I am a new Amerigas customer and not happy with them at all. After signing on with them, they brought one of their tanks, swapped out the tank belonging to another LPG company with their tank. The installer checked to ensure no gas leak. As soon as the Amerigas tank was installed and gas valve opened, my Rinnai tankless gas water heater stopped working. I have been an Amerigas customer for 20 years and every time I have an issue that I need to speak with someone, I am infuriated. Horrible call center in the Phillipines. No one can answer your questions unless it is simple. You cannot reach any local office in the US and the website even says do not walk in their office. I have been waiting for a call back from local customer service for 5 days. Once I get a number I will post it on every review site so people will be able to contact someone in the states. Terrible business practices, incompetent customer service, and under-trained technicians. Takes weeks to get propane delivered, constant issues with deliveries. Trying to charge me $800 for my neighbors delivery, and giving me the worst time for fighting it. Billed $200+ for one of THEIR techs mistakes. Stole a unit from my property without notifying me. Worst of all, their customer service line is just full of people that never understand what i’m saying and offer little to no help.
