Scheduled an appointment for a tank pick up 3 weeks in advance and they never showed up. Who knows when they will show to pick up my tank. Website never works and called 6 times before I got through to anyone. Would not recommend this company for your propane needs.

Amerigas is horrible. Their customer care representatives have no idea what they are talking about and never help. I feel like I've received hundreds of lies. I purchased and paid for a 500 gallon propane tank in July of 2022. I have their bill of sale that states that I paid in full. In july of 2023 they billed me AGAIN for the tank and after hundreds of calls, I still cannot get the bill resolved. I called AmeriGas to fill my two 500 gallon customer owned propane tanks they serviced these tanks for several years so I didn’t think it was going to be a problem well lo and behold they sent Karen with a clipboard out to deliver the gas and he saw that the tanks were 9‘10“ away from my building, and they have a 10 foot minimum, even though they set the tanks and serviced them for years. there customer service is the absolute worst. they will argue with you on the phone when they in the wrong. trying to charge my for a rental fee when I’ve had 2 deliveries. spoke with 2 different reps to have fee removed and told fee would be removed. instead when I logged into my acct I still had the fee and 2 late fees. Ive never had gas before and i bought my house and it has been absolutely horrible experience. Then put me on a silent hold and never picked back up

Ripoff! Since purchasing out local company the prices have gone through the roof. They are atleast. 20 cents higher than the competition. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!

Amerigas has screwed up again. In February 2023, they invoiced me for a tank pressure test, which I had not ordered and which they had not performed. After 3 chat sessions and 5 phone conversation totaling over 2 hours, they credited my account. Yesterday, 12/14/23, they filled my tank with 200+ gal (over $1,000) claiming that I had called and made the request. I made no such request. I am and have been on "will call" since last February. Been dealing with AmeriGas for 39 years and they have now gone from an A rating to not rated at all. They sent me a contract in July quoting $2.59 per gallon. Just ordered gas and they wanted $3.35 per gallon because the contract "hasn't been approved". Spent over an hour (again) on the phone with a rep to get the price changed. Went through the same exact thing all last year (2022). How on earth can they send out a contract that hasn't been approved? Amerigas quoted me about $4.20 per gallon, while one of their local competitors quoted about $2.10/per gallon. The Amerigas Customer Service people couldn't explain why they were charging so much more per gallon. I decided to switch to the competitor and then Americas charged almost $300 to remove their tank. It really seems like Amerigas is trying to take advantage of people by overcharging for propane and related services.

On 12-12-23,amerigas came to our property and drained 733.8 gallons of propane out of the tank that we pd for .and removed the tank leaving us without any heat..was not even notified they were taking it..called amerigas 8 times with no results today....12 13 23.
