I have been a customer for several years and have never received such horrible customer service as I did recently. We ran out of propane and was willing to pay the emergency fee and the refused. I do not recommend this business at all.
ONE STAR is too generous. This company has ******** customer service! Delivery doesn't happen when they say. My emergency fill, in the middle of winter in ******, NEVER HAPPENED. No email. No phone call. No text. Their "customer service" is still over seas despite an email sent to customers saying they were changing that. You can't reach ANYONE in the company. WHY HAVE YOU GIVEN THEM AN A-? Seriously? If you're unsure of a company, if they won't respond to your requests, a "C" at best. But these people need an "F"!
Zero stars. Amerigas has closed local offices and abandoned residential delivery services in the area (southeast *******) but are still stringing customers along falsely promising delivery and not showing. Prior to 2025 I was able to have propane delivered yearly to run my gas heaters in my home in ***** zip code. I am filing this complaint due to extremely poor customer service and serious safety failures by AmeriGas.I reported a propane odor coming from my underground rented tank and also heard hissing from the tank area. AmeriGas sent a technician who performed a pressure test that FAILED the system dropped from approximately 10 PSIG to zero in about three minutes, confirming an active propane leak. On 1/23/26 I got a text saying our delivery would arrive in a few days. Fast forward to 1/30/26 I get a text saying its arriving tomorrow. So today 1/31/26 I get a text saying my driveway is not accessible and they need to reschedule. They estimated our level at 20%, were at ZERO! I called, got some foreigner who I can barley understand who says best she can do is tomorrow maybe. We had to shut our furnace off in hopes we dont run out completely tonight. Does not come when they say they will. Worst propane company ever!
Amerigas auto delivery ran us out of propane gas for the 4 th time and 2nd time this month. No emergency service to refill over the weekend. Unreliable company and horrible customer service that is unable to figure out how to deliver their product to their customers regularly
I was going to detail my experience with Amerigas here ... but as I read all of the negative reviews. and NO good reviews I don't think I need to. This is the worst propane company that I have ever dealt with and I have had propane for 25 years at my last 3 homes.... so that is saying a lot. Amerigas doesn't deserve a star. There should be an option for negative stars. This business is truly the worst. They lie constantly. Our tank is on auto-fill, yet they dont monitor it at all. When it runs out of propane, they claim theyll come within 24 hours, but youre lucky if they show up within a week.Calling them is just as bad. They ******* you with endless questions and still dont do anything to help.
