My last bill for propane by Amerigas was in 2017. I have not used propane since then but they left the tank on my property. I had not received a bill for tank rental since 2017 and the tank was rotting. If I had received a bill, I would have had the tank removed. Then in December 2025, I get a bill for over $1000!!!!! I called supervisor and told her I hadnt used propane nor received a bill since 2017.....She would not change my bill except for only $200 less so my fee was still $875.93. We have had Amerigas since 2017...always paid on time and was on Autofill...our price has always been around 3.00..it has now been 3.55 per gallon the last few years....after questioning family and friends in area we found out other propane companies are charging 1.84 to 2.11 per gallon...we called and finally got the price for our last fill up down to 2.54...after first talking to out of the country reps that said they would only get rid of hazmat fee...we called several times...customer service was awful...rude...acting li... read more
There needs to be a zero star. Amerigas takes weeks to make a delivery but wants the payment right away. Several times we didn't get what we paid for and a lot less

I am a new customer and they have never delivered ******************** on time--they just keep rescheduling and delaying delivery dates. Horrible phone system with wait times around 30 minutes and often drops calls when transferring to local office.
Amrigas took over ** ******. No contact signed with them. Paid rent on tank when price 2 to 3x more than other local providers changed. Sent bill for ****** for picking up tank less than 10 miles. They received ****** dollars worth of propane. Still sent a bill.
This company scammed my elderly parents and im in the process of litigating them. They will leave you with faulty tanks and then make you pay a surcharge to correct.
Really a 0 star. I have now been given 3 delivery dates. I have already paid this company. Im out of gas heating with space heaters. I will now look into a lawsuit against amerigas
Crooks! Tanks are outdated! Propane overpriced! Dont try to cancel they will deliver even if you canceled. Then when you say come pick your tank up weve done something else they will charge you $500 to pick the tank up. Absolutely craziness! How is this allowed!!
