Stay away from this company. They shield themselves from customers by using a off-shore call center, none of their provided phone numbers connect to corporate offices. I wrote to my Board of supervisor about my problem with Amerigas and was told to contact BBB. There is NO oversite of this company. If I could, I would leave a negative 10 star rating.

Amerigas owed me $105.38 for the overpayment I made, I tried to get the refund back and 14 days ago, i was assured by the billing Rep to receive a check in 3-5 days with a Refund ID # 6xxxxx, now it has been 14 days,I have not seen the check. I called today, the customer rep told me my credit is still pending waiting for the credit to be approved before the check can be issued, and the Rep told me she will do a follow up but can not tell me when the refund check can be issued. I'm a new customer in Florida that hoped to have a healthy relationship with Amerigas but unfortunately the experience has been horrible. I was hoping that working with a larger company would have been better than a smaller compititor. My God was I wrong! My pain with your company started the minute I signed the contract. We have had Amerigas service for over 10 years. This year when we order a tank refill we get a message back that they cannot find our location. We have called Non-"Customer Service" 5 times. The call service in the Philippines tells us often that "they" are sorry for our problems. Today I hear that this agent "will personally" be watching our account. I explained to her that her response was not an answer. She told us that she had written our delivery instructions exactly as we told her. When I ask her to read them back to m... read more

This company is the worse company ever, they are not care about their customers, I requested to pick up the tank from my back yard about 5 months ago, they gave me appointments 3 times and confirmation number every time and now one showed up, and when I called they kept saying the same thing we don’t have any one to do your business!!!!!

If I could give zero stars I would. When it comes to service and customer service, they are, by far, the worst company I've ever dealt with. No one else is even in the same ball park. You can't speak to a supervisor, nor anyone in America for that matter unless you call 25 times in a row. They all lie to you and say the escalation department doesn't exist even when you tell them you literally just spoke to someone in that dept. They used to fill my tank and then bill me. Very poor customer service when you call you will be speaking to a contact center in India. They have no idea when people will be out even if you tell them you have a gas leak. They also have a lot of hidden fees be careful when you have them come get their tanks they charge you $311 to pick them up. This is ridiculous and they told me they can not tell me a day they will pick up the say they have 90 days but will not contact you and they expect someone to be home. This company is a rip off stay away poor business practice.

Horrible company. They charged a tank fee when I was not advised prior to the charge. I changed companies and now they’re charging me to take their tank. Never had an issue with company I had for over 35 years and then they were bought out. I have called several times and told they would remove the charges then I get a bill with late fees. Would NEVER recommend this company.

I was over charged for the installation of a safety valve. I was told the total cost would be $100.00. After the installation I received a bill for $249.50. That charge included $99.99 for a service dispatch fee. ( trip fee). AmeriGas requested to come to my home and install the valve. I should not have to pay a trip fee. AmeriGas customer service is impossible to talk to, they are based in India.
