If I could give a zero start I would. I had service done on 7/30 for what I thought was a leak. It ended up just being that the release valve pressure went off because the tank got hot according to the service guy. Then tech then said oh I will take the tank in case there is an issue and replace it with another. It's been over 20 plus days and still no tank. I have called every single day no stop with a promises of a new tank. I've missed days of working for scheduling that didn't happen. My tank was also full of gas I paid ... read more

Requested tank refill. Was charged for the gas and $140.00 inspection. Was told I had a leak. Someone to be out the next day. Did not show until a week later. The field *** said I did NOT have a leak. The Teflon tape used on a connector needed replacement. Now I have been charged $215.00. I called their horrible customer service, they said it was for a survey. I didn't do a survey. Don't have any idea what this is for!!

Do NOT trust Amerigas. I owned an underground tank that was sold with the house to a new owner. I was not even an Amerigas customer. ********************** put a device on my tank while no one was there so it appeared that Amerigas was the propane provider; it was not. Apparently, this is something they do when they know a house is for sale. When the new owner called to have it removed (they wanted to use a different propane company) Amerigas told him that it owned the tank and only Amerigas would be allowed to fill the tank... read more

This company has absolutely the worst customer service ! You can never reach a human and if you do they are in another country and dont have a clue. Horrible company. They make everything. Harder and more stressful.

25+ year customers. July '25 ran out of gas. Delivery stopped in December '24 without notifying us, of their defective 1000 gallon tank in ground on our property. Still no gas! Horrific experience.

Worst company I have ever dealt with. Good luck reaching anyone on the phone when they deliver your full tank to someone else. Hours on the phone only to hear my gauge must be broken. Had to call in a gas leak just to get someone to admit they delivered to the wrong address. Canceled them and so much better with a local company.

The absolutely very worst customer service ever. I have an aging tank (30 yrs) and have safety concerns. I attempted to have a site survey to check tank integrity and possible leaks and there were "no shows" and "no follow-up communication" from Amerigas. Impossible to speak to a local representative, all calls are routed to customer service centers (one is Asia and one in **).

I was a customer to ********************** for residential propane. They continually charged me for tank rental and maintenance for cleaning and painting the tank and never once touched it. I have been a customer for over 20 years and am now retired and on a limited income. Their costs were well over all other companys I reviewed and had no choice but to cancel my propane account my with them. I called to cancel my service and was told I have a balance of $165.(lock in price for this year and a late charge) I told them I was not paying for something g I did not use. They said there would be a charge for removing the tank..I told them I was not paying them to remove a tank they own. They put me on hold a d I hung up. Never use Amerigas.
