We had a gas leak in August of this year and alerted amerigas. They said we were out of gas which we said had never occurred in 20 years but accepted their expert advice and they filled up the tank 100% when we requested 50%. 4 days later the gas is leaking and the meter is down to reading 0%. They come back and say its the ****** our responsibility. Please, if you are a residential customer, avoid this ********************** at all costs!!! They could be the worst company Ive dealt with in my entire adult life. Missed or lost orders are not only common but standard. **************** is all overseas (***********) so getting someone who speaks English well, or even marginally effective is impossible. Expect to be put on hold for 30, 40 minutes or longer and disconnected more often than not. STAY AWAY!!!

AmeriGas was so hard to connect with the last 2 times called I was on hold for over 45 minutes. they would not work with me with billing questions. I would never refer them .

Absolutely the WORST customer service! If you buy a new house DO NOT lease a tank from them even if it already on the property! There was an Amerigas 124 gallon tank on the property we just bought so we kept it without reading the reviews. They are very friendly and prompt to set up the account and then they are UNREACHABLE! After just three weeks of trying to work the to no avail they are charging $400. To come pick up the tank which is sitting in the driveway!

**SAVE YOURSELF MONEY**Amerigas has the worst customer service. From the install costing three times the amount it should have, customer service did not help me then. the last straw was when the charged me for propane delivered to someone:somewhere else and charged me for it. Then refused to credit my account with out an investigation, when I took and sent pictures of before and after fill up of my tank gauge with no movement. Trying to be professional... cottonwood AmeriGas is the worst . Dozens of calls lots of promises on delivery days THE WORST.they were told last year very little usage gone for three winter months tank empty this two hundred fifty gallons tank only runs fireplace. We are paying lease approximately one hundred dollars a year. Tank is over forty five years old. No customer service

We bought a house that has an Amerigas-owned propane tank, and I deeply regret this. Their customer service is the worst I've ever seen. I understand the need for some companies to outsource customer service, but they hire people that literally don't understand English.I got a *** that genuinely couldn't understand my question, so I requested another ***resentative. My mother told them two years ago not to deliver without permission. She passed away 10/7 and they delivered 10/29, again without permission. Now we have a 507 bill. The home is is a trust and I am a trustee. They want a death certificate. She was not under a contract with them. They would come every quarter and charge her a fee to come by. She told them then to stop unless she called. You cant reach anyone in the states to discuss
