This is, bar none, the worst company that I've ever done business with. ***************** F-Cost of goods and service: F- (Cost of propane through them rose to NEARLY TWICE what a local company charged. I literally wasted thousands of dollars by avoiding what I've finally done: fired them and hired a reputable company)I'm spending the 60+ minutes on hold required to end my device agreement writing reviews letting people know that they are the disreputable and dishonest. Shame the BBB won't let me give them 0 stars.

Amerigas sends you delivery scheduled notices that you don't request or need.I have received several that state my wife called in a delivery that she didn't.They also make deliveries that are unnecessary, example is I have a 500 gallon tank and they e-mail another delivery scheduled note (the second delivery this month) telling me to expect a 40 gallon delivery. Previous owner had this tank.We wanted service and they never showed up. Charge you rental fee but no service. Finally after many attempts they picked up the tank. Never was told by any representatives we would incur ****** pick up fee and a ****** dispatch fee!!! **************** is outsourced. They just throw out any charge they feel like!

Terrible customer service! I had to call and web message multiple times to get them to fill my tanks for the first time. Then they billed me for 2 fill-ups. I have now called 3 times to have it adjusted which for some reason no one can do directly. They can only escalate I still have a wrong invoice and am past due. Im sure Ill get hit with fees due to their error. I would switch companies but cannot get a hold of someone to have them remove the tank. This feels illegal.

0 stars. This company is terrible to work with. We purchased a house that had a tank from Amerigas. The tank was 80 percent full, so we used the gas in the tank and then had filled the next year. The rental fee is high and the company for every little thing. It takes several hours to take care of one small problem with the company. We decided to get rid of Amerigas because of how difficult they are to work with. It took me over 2 hours to get it cancelled. They informed me they would charge me $149.99 for early cancellation ... read more

WAY OVER PRICED!! Tried charging 4.50 per gallon. So I switched to a company charging only 1.79 per gallon. Amerigas took about three weeks to pick up the tank..... then they send a bill via email for 280 bucks and it just says due immediately. Terrible company, overpriced, and horrible ***************** Waited on the phone to talk to someone for an hour....

You current AmeriGas customers, have you looked at your propane additional invoice charges? Haz Mat Fee, Fuel Recovery Fee, Paper Invoice Fee, State Sales Tax, City Sales Tax, Local Sales Tax. Not to mention the high price they are charging per gallon for propane. The tipping point for me was the ongoing poor customer service, mostly based overseas somewhere (Philippines) Needless to say, I have moved my propane business elsewhere (Arrow Propane) as there are options, like, free tank delivery and setup, propane delivered at ... read more
