Been a customer of Amerigas since 2005. I never had a late payment & no issues until Jan 2024. I'm on automatic fill budget plan however I ran out of propane on 1/9. Called and was told I reported my AC unti was too close to the tanks on 12/6/23. Tanks Amerigas installed years ago but now are too close to the AC which was existing when the tanks were installed. If you use Amerigas as your propane provider, please be WARNED. This company rents you their equipment but charges you for a service call if their equipment fails. If you have a faulty tank gauge that incorrectly shows the amount of propane in that tank, and you fall below 10%, Amerigas will charge you extra when they deliver your fuel. I have found numerous accounting error with this company, which has almost made me unable to receive a fill. Amerigas is terrible! They charge about double per gallon what other local companies charge. They lie about how much gas they actually put in your tank. They are absolutely corrupt! The only answer to companies this terrible is to have as many customers cancel as possible until they go out of business.

Amerigas is a ripoff!! I have been without propane for heating for almost 2 weeks. I have had to stay in a hotel to stay warm. Their customer service is in another country, so representatives barely speak English. Delivery truck made a futle attempt to deliver a week ago. Driver had to back off of an asphalt highway onto a concrete driveway. His front tire ran off of the asphalt when making the turn, which did not even made a run. Made two attempts and then drove off. This is the worst propane provider on the planet. I agree with Chris J.'s review. On "auto-fill" they let me run out of propane 3x in 18 months. UNACCEPTABLE!! The call center in the Philippines cannot handle a question/request that is not on their script. Plus, they are quite difficult to understand. I'm trying to get rid of them, but that seems impossible, too, as they don't answer email nor respond to a request to buy their tank that I rent. I wish I had never done business with this company. After finding out they were charging me more than double what other companies charge for propane I decided to switch propane suppliers. On 8/23/2023 my new propane supplier set aside by several feet the Amerigas 1000 gal tank and set their 500 gal tank in place of it. However they reconnected my gas line to it to drain out the 16% propane left over in it. I have been a customer with Amerigas for over 25 years. The last 4 years have been a total nightmare. Last year in October 2023 they came to fill my tank. The man knocked on my door and told me he couldn't fill my tank because it was too close to the house. Mind you, this is where AmeriGas installed my tank 25 years ago. He said they would send somebody out to move my tank and then they would fill it. And I use propane for my primary heat source. After 2 weeks went by. Amerig ass is the most incompetent company I have ever(and I'm 63) delt with. Lie's after lies, service dept. Lost. Manager's lie. Scale 1 to 10 -10 Never late onbill. Open my account. First thing I see, past due. I'm. +$101.02 they promise to use on bill and don't, keep telling me it's my money. But they won't apply to bill. All lies. WARNING: DO NOT USE AMERIG ASS

I would like to give them zero star. I have been a faithful customer for over 10 years. How do they show their appreciation:1. By raising their price to double of other companies. 2. Demanding that I fill my tank complete each time I make a purchase 3. Having customer service that literally do not speak English, and I cannot understand any of them. 4.
