The rescue told me Harper was part Lab & part American Bulldog. I had my doubts. She is Pit Bull + Staffordshire Terrier + Pug + Australian Shepherd + Sardinian Shepherd. I love her to bits & I could hardly wait to get the results back! And so glad to have the option to include the health info.
Received test in mail quickly, readable instructions in how to setup account & getting the DNA sample; how to return it. A returnable prepaid box. May of took a little while to get results back, but was worth it!! We now understand our pup. It’s pretty neat; not only did we find out his breed(Ancestry Pet DNA), we found out that he is actually a designer breed from looking up the two breeds. I was very pleased to find out what my dog’s DNA revealed. I was sure he was a Dogo Argentino but he is not. I was shocked to find out he had so many dangerous dogs DNA. He is such a gentle loving and friendly dog.

I had been waiting awhile to finally see what Antonio was made of,. Being 39% chihuahua surprised me but now I see it. Ancestry did a great job, and was easy from start to finish.
The process was straight forward. The result took 7 weeks from the date it was posted with updates for each stage. My dog looks like a German shepherd but with a mix of something else. The DNA result was German shepherd 75% Collie 15% which makes sense.
